Mile Away Stowe Short-Term Rental Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement to Terms

By booking a stay at Mile Away Stowe, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these carefully before making a reservation.

2. Booking and Payment

2.1 Reservation: Outside 60 days of arrival, a reservation is confirmed upon receipt of a 50% deposit or full payment, as specified in the booking details. Balance of payment is due 60 Days before arrival and will be charged automatically to the same credit card used, unless communicated otherwise. Within 60 days of arrival, the total cost is due to reserve the property.

2.2 Payments: ALL PAYMENTS ARE NONREFUNDABLE.

2.3 Cancellation Policy: If the reservation is canceled outside 60 days of arrival, the deposit payment will be forfeited, and the guest is released from financial liability on the remaining balance owed. Cancellations with less than 60 days notice will result in 100% loss of all payments, less any security deposit or damage waiver. If we can replace the guest reservation and rebook the dates, we will credit you 75% of the recouped rent towards another reservation in the future. This loss can be avoided if the cancellation waiver was purchased.

3. Check-In and Check-Out

3.1 Check-In Time: Check-in begins at 4:00 PM.

3.2 Check-Out Time: Guests are required to check out by 10:00 AM. Late check-outs may incur additional charges.

4. House Rules

4.1 Occupancy: The maximum occupancy is 12 guests. Additional guests may result in eviction without refund.

4.2 Pets: No pets.

4.3 No Smoking: No smoking or vaping.

4.4 Noise: Guests are expected to respect neighbors and keep noise levels to a minimum during quiet hours.

5. Property Care

5.1 Damages: Guests are responsible for any damages to the property and its contents. A security deposit may be required.

5.2 Cleaning: Guests are expected to leave the property in the same condition as at check-in. Additional cleaning fees may apply for excessive mess.

6. Communication

6.1 Text Messaging: By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages related to your reservation.

7. Privacy Policy

7.1 Personal Information: We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By booking, you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing Law

8.1 Jurisdiction: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, United States.
